Every project starts the same way, regardless of type.
- Sign in and go to your Dashboard, this is your home base, listing every project you own.
- Click New Project.
- Give it a name. Names must be between 2 and 40 characters, you can rename it later at any time, so don't overthink this.
- Choose a project type: Website, Web Application, Desktop, Mobile, Discord Bot, API, or Game. See "Which project type should I choose?" if you're not sure which fits what you have in mind.
- For project types that offer them (Website, Web Application, Game), you'll be offered a choice between a ready-made template and a blank canvas. See "Starting from a template vs. starting blank" for how to decide.
Once created, you land straight in that project's editor, ready to start building immediately, there's no separate setup wizard or configuration step blocking you first.
How many projects can I create?
The Free plan includes up to 2 active projects, Plus up to 8, and Creator unlimited, see "Free, Plus, and Creator plans compared" for the full breakdown. If you delete a project, that slot frees up again.
Tip: Project names don't need to be final or public-facing, they're just how you tell projects apart on your own Dashboard. What matters for your actual audience is the project's published URL or custom domain.
