If you already know your current password
- Go to your Profile page.
- Click Change Password.
- Follow the same reset flow described below, this sends a reset link to your account email rather than asking you to type the old one, so it works identically to a forgotten-password reset.
If you forgot it, or never set one
- Go to the Forgot Password page.
- Enter your account's email address.
- Check your inbox for a reset link and open it.
- Choose a new password (8-72 characters, see "Password requirements").
If you normally sign in with Google and have never set a password on your account, this exact flow is also how you set one for the very first time, there's nothing different about it, you just end up with a working password afterward that you didn't have before.
Tip: If your account has two-factor authentication enabled and you're resetting your password because you're locked out entirely, see "I lost access to my two-factor authentication device", the reset flow includes a way to turn 2FA off if you truly can't get a code.
